We also finished plumbing all the helium pressurant lines to the LOX & alcohol tanks. We have some leak checking to do, clean & dry the tanks and then we're pretty much ready for a static test.

SDSU Rocket_ Valve Actuation
It's been a while since we've posted any content. Here is some recent work we have been doing. The video below shows us actuating our propellant valves in our LOX/alcohol rocket using servo-driven ball valves. We're using a Netburner computer to control the servo's.

We also finished plumbing all the helium pressurant lines to the LOX & alcohol tanks. We have some leak checking to do, clean & dry the tanks and then we're pretty much ready for a static test.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing this link - but unfortunately it seems to be down? Does anybody here at sdsurocketproject.blogspot.com have a mirror or another source?
Thanks,
Charlie
Charlie,
Are you trying to access the video link using a mobile phone? I have had no luck seeing it with my mobile phone, but my desktop & laptop computers see it with no problem.

Thank you for the work you have put into the post, this helps clear up some questions I had.
Hi.
You are using LR-101 with alcohol?
No, we are using a home made ablatively cooled motor (~600 lbf.).
